Business Development Executive

Location: Bengaluru, Chennai | Full-Time

Role Summary:

The Sales Executive will be a key player in driving the growth of Rapha Med Systems. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, and achieving sales targets for our range of medical equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical knowledge in the medical field and a passion for sales and business development.

Key Responsibilities:

Market Penetration & Sales:

  • Identify and pursue new sales leads, and prospective clients including hospitals, diagnostic centers, and individual practitioners.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the medical equipment industry.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in the healthcare industry.
  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value
    proposition of our products.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing timely and accurate information.

Technical Expertise & Consultation:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio and the underlying medical technologies.
  • Utilize your technical background to understand client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical assistance and product education to clients.

Sales Operations & Reporting:

  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotations.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in the company’s CRM system.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to the management team.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a
related field in health technology is mandatory.

Experience: A minimum of two years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably within the medical equipment industry.

Medical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with medical terminology, clinical practices, and hospital environments.
Demonstrable experience in dealing with medical equipment is highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration abilities.
  • Ability to understand and articulate technical specifications of
    medical devices.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
